ThermoLift Attends Utilities & Heat Pumps Roundtable
The 2014 Utilities & Heat Pumps Roundtable focused on the key opportunities and challenges for the energy and heating industries to embrace heat pumps and drive market growth. European and national energy policies designed to achieve an energy transition to a low carbon economy are leading to the death of the traditional utility business model of centralized generation and commodity supply. In its place, new utility business models centered around decentralized energy and service provision need to be developed. This is leading to an increasing convergence between the energy and heating industries, and brings heat pumps to the mainstream for utilities and governments.
