The fourth annual ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit was held recently at the Gaylord Convention Center just outside Washington, D.C. The Summit brought together thought leaders from academia, business, and government to discuss cutting-edge energy issues and facilitate relationships to help move technologies into the marketplace. The event features keynote speeches on the future of energy technology and attend practical seminars on core concepts and skills for transitioning breakthrough technologies into successful commercial products.

The Seventh Annual New Energy Symposium featured 15 emerging cleantech startups that pitched to a panel of over 40 regional and national VCs, angels, private equity investors, corporate VCs, investment bankers, and government. ThermoLift was named a semi-finalist in the Investment Pitch Competition, which is judged based on the company that had the most money theoretically invested in them by a panel of judges.
